The profile and application field:

This steel plate is used to make the body of the equipment in the manufacture of pressure vessel and parts of the professional pressure vessel steel plate. The vast majority of pressure vessels are made by the steel plate welded. It should be subjected to cold and hot processing and welding in the process of manufacturing pressure vessel steel plate, so it is required that the pressure vessel steel plate should have a good process performance, and have a certain strength and sufficient toughness, to the extent that it can subject to the external load and not occur brittle failure under the normal working conditions.

Based on carbon steel, the pressure vessel steel plate has developed the low alloy steel and alloy steel. The carbon content of steel is lower, generally no more than 0.20%, which makes the pressure vessel steel have low carbon equivalent yet (Ceq) and low welding (PAM) of sensitive coefficient to ensure the welding performance of steel. In addition, the condition of pressure vessel is strict, and most of containers are filled with flammable and explosive gas, and has a certain pressure, which makes the explosion accident easily. As a result, it is required that the pressure vessel steel has good toughness. In order to ensure the container security, generally, using the low alloy steel or stainless steel to make three kinds of pressure vessel.

Mostly, we use the AlF steel and nickel steel to make the pressure vessel. Currently, we use 0.5 Ni instead of 2.5Ni; With 1.5 Ni instead of3.5 Ni; With 9 ni instead of 11Crl8Ni9Ti. During 1984 ~ 1989,Chinaalso develops 1.5Ni to 3.5Ni, 5 Ni and 9 Ni steel.

Widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, power plant, boiler etc, and also made the equipment and components of the reactor, heat exchanger, separator, spherical tank, YouQiGuan, liquefied gas, nuclear reactor pressure vessel, boiler steam drum, liquefied petroleum gas cylinders, hydropower station high pressure pipes, hydraulic such as eddy shell.
